Credits are how Flikly measures usage across AI-powered creation workflows. Your plan determines how many credits are included, when they refresh, and what other limits apply alongside your balance.

What credits are

Credits are Flikly's usage unit for eligible AI-powered creation, generation, processing, and media workflows. Credits make usage easier to understand across different models and workflows.

Credits are not video minutes.

The exact credit usage can vary by workflow, model, duration, resolution, media type, and plan.

Repurposing longer videos into short-form clips.

Captioning or media processing where available

Caption or content processing steps when your workflow supports them.

Higher-quality, longer, or more advanced workflows where available

Longer duration, higher resolution, or heavier processing depending on plan.

What happens when credits refresh

  • Paid plan included credits refresh at the start of each billing period.
  • They do not refresh on the first calendar day of every month unless that happens to be your billing date.
  • Unused included credits do not roll over.
  • Add-on credits follow their own expiration rules.
  • Free credits do not refresh monthly.

What happens when you run out

When your balance is low or empty, you may:

  • Wait until the next billing period for included credits to refresh on paid plans.
  • Buy add-on credits if available for your plan.
  • Upgrade to a plan with more included credits or higher limits.
  • Adjust workflow choices to use credits more carefully.

How plan limits and credits work together

Credits measure usage volume. Plans can also control access to features and limits beyond your balance. Depending on your plan, limits may apply to:

  • Available AI models
  • Connected platform count
  • Quality or workflow options
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Collaboration and team features
  • API or advanced access where available

Are credits the same as video minutes?
No. Credits are usage units, not video minutes.
Do credits roll over?
Included plan credits do not roll over.
Why did Free not refresh this month?
Free includes one-time credits and does not refresh monthly.
Why did my credits reset?
Paid included credits refresh at the start of each billing period.
Can I buy more credits?
Add-on credit packs may be available from Billing depending on your plan.
Why did an action use credits?
